Gatsby? What Gatsby?

Forgive me for being a little late on “The Great Gatsby” craze, I just saw the movie this Tuesday.

It was…okay.

Obviously the film version of anything is never going to be as good as the book itself, but Baz Luhrmann’s version just didn’t do it for me. What I would LOVE to see though is the 1974 version starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow directed by Francis Ford Coppola.This isn’t to say that I didn’t at least enjoy some parts of the movie- I did. The visual effects were amazing and the costume design was absolutely exquisite.
